MIS Clerk - Fremont (TRIPS)

Summary: Assists with managing the accurate entry of information into management information systems, preparation of invoices and vouchers for payment and ongoing facility maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge on applicable federal, state, and local regulation changes, funding source contract goals, and eligibility requirements.
  2. Identify and communicate with supervisor regarding variances in contract goals.
  3. Assist with ongoing maintenance of TRIPS facility including completion of facility checklists; follow required procurement processes, funding source regulations, and fiscal policies and procedures to ensure necessary repairs and/or improvements are completed.
  4. Maintain inventory of office and building supplies and purchase materials as needed.
  5. Assist with maintaining information systems that will provide accurate and up-to-date program information; verify information and department data with appropriate staff.
  6. Assist with data entry into SAMS, CAREeVantage, PASSPORT, and ODODD billing systems, including data entry and invoicing.
  7. Generate, compile and prepare reports utilizing Ecolane and review data for accuracy and completeness.
  8. Prepare and process internal vouchers for payment in a timely manner; maintain payment filing system and tracking of expenses.
  9. Assist with entry of data into budgeting software system.
  10. Assist with event planning and meeting travel logistics, including per diem advances and resolutions.
  11. Other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor.








To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



Required Associate degree in business management, social work or office management or related field.



One to three years’ experience in business administration or office systems and procedures; and  one to three years’ experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.

  2. Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.
